Subsea Training Fibre Optics

The 2.5 day programme provides an introduction to Fibre Optic transmission and practical techniques. It will provide delegates with sufficient knowledge to competently install, terminateand test fibre optic cables and connectors.

The programme focus is on fibre optic termination and testing, simplifying the theory, processes and techniques.

The introduction firstly, starts with an overview of transmission theory and the principles behind it before moving onto practical sessions. Hands on experience of the latest technologies in the industry is provided to delegates, including testing and terminating fibre optic cables and umbilical's.

Who should attend?

Personnel involved in ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles) umbilical termination techniques, or anyone wishing to gain an insight into fibre optic maintenance.
