Subsea ROV Supervisors Course

This course is aimed at ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles) personnel working towards, or in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

By the end of the course delegates will have a knowledge of:

Safety Management Systems
Team management
Environmental factors
Training and assessment
ROV inventories and reporting requirements
Preparation of formal procedures
Pre-mobilisation visits
Capabilities and limitations of ROVs and new developments
Safety legislation
Basic management skills
Leadership and motivation techniques
Environmental considerations
Contingency plans
Mobilisation
Responsibility and accountability

Resources/Pre or Post Course Activity

Completion of relevant competences.

Requirements for Attendance

At least 180 days offshore acting in the capacity of Senior Pilot / Submersible Engineer and
assessed as competent at these roles.
